Z scale or Z gauge is one of the smallest commercially available model railway scale, introduced by Marklin in 1972. In the U.S. these model trains are called micro trains. This miniature world in 1:220 scale was built by a German model railway club for Z scale.
The model train layout is presenting the city of Lubeck in Northern Germany at the turn of the century. Although the tracks have a gauge of just 6.50 mm there are many details. The whole layout is controlled digitally by Selectrix Digital. Please, enjoy this piece of art.
