With the kind permission of Flemming Søeborg, four issues of the Danish model railway magazine are published on Pilentum’s website. The model railroading journal “Spor og Baner” is the largest, Danish model railway magazine, independent and free concerning the industry. It has a bimonthly appearance and consists of 60 pages, all in high quality.
The magazine recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The subjects are visits to Danish model railway enthusiasts, private as well as clubs, and in each issue there is an actual, comprehensive review of new, Danish models as well as a presentation of the most significant international scale models. New ideas, model projects and constructions are also amongst the articles.
Well-known Danish authors contribute to the magazine with articles on historical railway and railroad themes, as well as modern trains are descripted. Flemming Søeborg is in close contact with Europe’s leading model railway producers, but he feels free to criticize bad solutions in new models and recommends changes for the benefit of all parts.
You can either make a subscription for one year or you can buy the magazine in hobby shops, in railway stations, at airports and in some local newspaper shops throughout Denmark. It's an online publication produced by a group of model railway enthusiasts in the United Kingdom. Inside the magazine, there are high-quality reports and even guidebooks for railway modelling.
