Near Rotterdam Railway Station, there is the largest, finest, greatest and biggest model railroad layout of the Netherlands. This miniature world, called Miniworld Rotterdam is built in HO scale and covers an area of more than 600 square meters. The Netherlands are presented with coasts, landscapes, railway lines, wind mills, trains, docks, buildings, ships and much more.
Core of the entire model railway exhibition is the port of Rotterdam with container ships, terminals, dry dock, industrial plants and many bridges. Another section of the model railroad display presents a replica of the city of Rotterdam with its tram line, buildings and central station.
